WorldViz engineers designed, installed, and trained ETH University personnel in operating an exciting CornerCavern Virtual Reality (VR) System. This particular CornerCavern VR System uses a three-PC cluster with three independent high-end graphics cards, ultra-short throw projectors, and a PPT E Motion Tracking system utilizing six tracking cameras. Additionally, WorldViz inttegrated an Arrington Research Eye Tracker into the system in order to allow for extremely responsive and accurate eye-tracking research applications. The system enables ETH students and professors to study across multiple disciplines and departments in an incredibly immersive and interactive virtual environment. The lab’s side walls are easily-collapsible to make room for a standing, Head Mounted Display (HMD) based experience. ETH University plans to network its system with another one at a nearby university soon. Stay tuned for details!
